I'm Mrs. Bissonnette and I love teaching at Jefferson Lincoln Elementary!  I love teaching young minds and seeing students experience success. I believe that families and communities are important shareholders in education. I am passionate about connecting with families and the community to support students. 

 

I received my Bachelors Degree from Oregon State University in Human Development and Family Sciences and later my Masters in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.  After being a para educator for special education for 5 years, I decided to become a classroom teacher. I have been a classroom teacher for 10 years now. I currently teach 2nd grade and LOVE it!!!

 

I am a NW native and have lived in both Washington and Oregon. I am married and have 2 children who are in college. When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy traveling both in the U.S. and internationally, time on the coast, shopping and baseball.
